November 2009 - Bahamas Group Trip
Bahamas - Aquacat - JAWSOME
Our trip this time took us 'across the pond' - we all met up at LHR and flew scheduled flight with BA to the lovely Bahamas for some shark diving aboard the Aquacat liveaboard. Expectations were high and we were not disappointed the boat was great and the food to die for.Our first time on an American liveaboard and they do run things differently to our Red Sea trips, they kept running around filming us above and below water and the dive briefs were full on enthusiasm with lots of AWSOME's thrown in, strangely enough the head dive guide Chris came from good old Birmingham although he spoke with an Aussie accent!
Dives:
Seems strange and a bit scarry getting into the water with shark fins circling around, but what a great experience, we were all buzzing when we surfaced. Of course we have loads of pictures and here are just a few including our Fancy Dress night which as ever produced some stunning costumes, a big thank you to all.
